Very happy to announce I finished my first knitted sweater! All though it's not perfect, it turned out nice. The sweater has a little bit of sentimental value ... I used my Nana's buttons I got after she passed. My Nana would remove all the buttons from garments she no longer wore or discarded and save them in an old tin. They certainly do not make buttons like they used to.
The Mission Falls yarn used in the sweater was absolutely delicious - very soft. I learned Intarsia and seaming in this project ... not too fond of either one :-). The entire project took about a week.
The sweater was gifted to a friend for her daughter who is expected to arrive in about 10 weeks. I can't wait to meet her!
